For the first time in almost 50 years, pro-life Americans have the opportunity to protect life in law as well as in service, a loving responsibility we gladly embraced. As a result of the U.S. Supreme Court reversal of Roe v. Wade, individual states now have the responsibility and possibility of protecting women and children from a predatory, billion-dollar abortion industry.
Therefore, the citizens of Bellevue, NE seek to permanently protect all preborn lives within their community via a Sanctuary City for the Preborn Ordinance. We the citizens of Bellevue are publicly affirming the respect of human life in all stages of development and a commitment to using taxpayer dollars to affirm and care for life, from conception to natural death.
Students for Life of America’s Campaign for Abortion Free Cities seeks to make abortion unthinkable and unobtainable in Bellevue. We pledge to be of service, through our Standing With You Initiative. We are proud to join with the citizens of Bellevue in support of a Sanctuary City for the Preborn Ordinance.

Petition to City Council Members to Pass Sanctuary City for the Preborn Ordinance in Bellevue, NE
WHEREAS: The abortionist at the CARE abortion facility is currently being sued by two different women for medical negligence, including negligence of informed consent. Both parties suffered debilitating losses and had significant fetal remains left inside them. These clients were rushed to a hospital in critical condition due to severe loss of blood. Their injuries include perforation of the uterus and bowel, and in one woman’s case, damage to the appendix and a total hysterectomy rendering her infertile. CARE sells abortions up to 22 weeks, by which point the preborn baby can feel pain and may be capable of surviving outside the womb with medical intervention.
WHEREAS: Such outright disregard for human life should be offensive even to the most pro-choice Bellevue citizens; and
THEREFORE: I urge you to help protect all preborn children in Bellevue by encouraging all six Bellevue City council members to vote in SUPPORT of the Sanctuary City for the Preborn of Bellevue City Ordinance.
