The Campaign for Abortion Free Cities exists to directly reduce abortions in our communities by serving women, promoting non-violent resources, reaching out to our neighbors, and changing hearts and minds. The Chicago campaign kicked off in July 2023. The team on the ground is excitedly working towards an abortion-free city.

NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT
Sadly, abortion is still legal in our city and a local abortion facility has been found not meeting basic health and safety standards. Together, we can make a difference. Read below for how your local community has been impacted by the abortion industry and how YOU can take action.
Chicago abortion vendor Family Planning Associates Medical Group (FPA) cannot be trusted. In 2015, two of their locations closed due to failed health inspections. In addition, Dr. Edward Lichtenberg, their Co-Medical Director has been involved in multiple wrongful death lawsuits. These lawsuits cite incidents that include the death of a woman due to a critical vaginal hemorrhage from a torn uterus and a failure to ensure timely transport to a hospital. Another incident involved a 13-year-old girl who tragically passed due to improper monitoring and failure to transport the patient responsibly. In Illinois, abortions can be sold through all 9 months for any reason. This includes after viability (5 months), the point at which a preborn baby can feel pain and survive outside the womb.
