THE CAMPAIGN FOR ABORTION FREE CITIES

Richmond, VA

The Campaign for Abortion Free Cities exists to directly reduce abortions in our communities by serving women, promoting non-violent resources, reaching out to our neighbors, and changing hearts and minds. The Richmond campaign kicked off in March 2021. The team on the ground is excitedly working towards an abortion-free city.

Local News

“Students for Life’s Campaign for Abortion Free Cities is shining a light on Richmond specific, non-violent pregnancy help resources. Our canvassing and local community events have shown there is a real need for resource awareness in the community and communicating knowledge on abortion alternatives is a winning tactic for the pro-life movement.” - Gavin Oxley, Regional Coordinator

NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT

Sadly, abortion is still legal in our city and a local abortion facility has been found not meeting basic health and safety standards. Together, we can make a difference. Read below for how your local community has been impacted by the abortion industry and how YOU can take action.

Richmond Medical Center for Women has been cited for multiple health code violations. Such as not securely storing medical records, having no documentation or licensure for the nurse who administered anesthesia, and staff failed to clean and disinfect the procedure room between patients. Additionally, they sell abortions up to 21 weeks, by which point a preborn baby can feel pain and may be capable of surviving outside of the womb.
