The Campaign for Abortion Free Cities exists to directly reduce abortions in our communities by serving women, promoting non-violent resources, reaching out to our neighbors, and changing hearts and minds. The Atchison campaign kicked off in April 2023. The team on the ground is excitedly working towards an abortion-free city.

Our outreach in the Atchison community has shown that there are families here in desperate need of resources. However, most of the residents we have spoken with do not know where the nearest pregnancy help centers are. Our goal is to provide support for the members of our community by discovering their needs and directing them to life-affirming resources. No woman should be pressured into abortion violence, and we must provide a culture of love and support to ensure that no woman stands alone in Atchison, KS.
NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT
Sadly, abortion is still legal in our city and a local abortion facility has been found not meeting basic health and safety standards. Together, we can make a difference. Read below for how your local community has been impacted by the abortion industry and how YOU can take action.
In Kansas state, abortion is legal up to 22 weeks, when a prenatal baby has a heartbeat and brain activity. A prenatal baby at this stage also may be capable of feeling pain and surviving outside of the womb.
