THE CAMPAIGN FOR ABORTION FREE CITIES

Louisville, KY

The Campaign for Abortion Free Cities exists to directly reduce abortions in our communities by serving women, promoting non-violent resources, reaching out to our neighbors, and changing hearts and minds. The Louisville campaign kicked off in July 2022. The team on the ground is excitedly working towards an abortion-free city.

Local News

"Through the Louisville AFC campaign, we are actively working towards the permanent closure of Kentucky's last two remaining abortion facilities, both located in downtown Louisville. We are eager to inform residents about the life-affirming alternatives and pregnancy resources available to women and families. We will accomplish this goal through continuous sidewalk advocacy, campus outreach, local events, and by directly canvassing neighborhoods across Louisville. Volunteers in Louisville are eager to bolster community awareness of our local pregnancy help organizations, and to finally make both our city AND our state completely abortion-free!" -Marina Mason, Regional Coordinator

NEIGHBORHOOD ALERT

Sadly, the abortion industry is still active in our town as they are actively referring women to neighboring states where abortion is still legal. They are also promoting extremely dangerous and harmful chemical abortion. Together, we can make a difference. Read below for how your local community is being impacted by the abortion industry and how YOU can take action.

Some companies have attempted to sell chemical abortion drugs online. Chemical abortion is always dangerous for the life of the preborn child, as its designed to end the life of the baby, and it can also be very dangerous for women, including pain- possibly severe, heavy and/or prolonged bleeding for multiple weeks, fever, infection, incomplete abortion (requiring surgical follow-up), nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, feeling dizzy or having a headache, short-lasting hot flashes, hemorrhage, blood clots, undetected and possibly life-threatening ectopic pregnancy and the possibility of permanent infertility if an Rh negative mother is not administered RhoGam as is done with dangerous “no-test” abortions and telemedicine chemical abortions.
